Mjolnir - Bronze

Thor's Hammer "Mjolnir" has been worn as a symbol of protection and associated with the practitioners of Heathenry for at least 1100 years. The hammer is believed to have been used not only as personal protection, but also in blessings, hallowing, birth and death. Historically Mjolnir pendants were made from various metals and materials.

I cast my mjolnirs on Thursday (Thor's day). I have an altar in my shop to Thor, and I make offerings of meat, of fruit, and of honeyed spirits. I make offerings to Eitri, Brokkr , and Sindri as well. I ask Thor and the dwarves to bless my work. Each Mjolnir is cast by hand, and as I heat the metal, I chant into each one runes of protection, and the runes of Thor. I invoke the original Mjolnir into each one I make, and ask for the guidance and blessing of the Dwarven smiths of legend who originally forged Mjolnir.

My hammer pendants are hand cast. Each pendant is unique. This style is based on archeological finds.

This pendant comes on a black deer skin lace cord approximately 32" long (hangs approximately 16"). The cord is double knotted to be adjustable. If you would prefer a vegan/nylon cord, please let me know and I'll be happy to send you the pendant with the preferred cord.
